A few apples were beginning to fall from my tree this last week, so it was time. I like to pick them for pie a little before they are fully ripe, which is right now.

That looks pretty darned good. Not much better desert than homemade apple pie.

I assisted my 7 or 8 year old daughter in baking her first pie. It was an apple with the lattice top very muck like yours. It is a great memory. She is 21 now and still remembers that day. Thank you.

Looks great, got to make a couple for myself this fall. I love just about any fruit pie but apple is one of my favourites!

I wouldn't even know where to start if I had to make a pie. My mom can make a mean pie though and her apple is my favorite.

A huckleberry/apple pie is also one of my favorites.

I'll be making another one this weekend. Gotta strike while the apples are free.

Making an apple pie is pretty easier, though I find it funny that I'm the baker in the family.

Apples come on trees???? Up here they grow on the grocery shelf !
