I'd say you got your money's worth.
My mom has some that look like that.
Don't know if it's Griswold.
Yard sales are the only place I ever find decent cast iron at my prices.
You can't touch it ever since it has become "collectable.
I want to use it, or have it for the kids.
Agreed, mom and dad always hit garage sales, got some damn nice cookware for penny’s on the dollar

Hammered cast iron.
I have a bigger version of the same. It was moms. No lid, but wife uses it for holiday cooking.
25cents? Tell them to go play the lottery. Aluminum alloy cookware that was very popular in the 1930's-1950's.
Guardian Service Ware was the dominant brand for aluminum cookware during that timeframe. Bought and sold a few of them over the years. The roasters with the glasstops that are not chipped or warped are the primo pieces people collect.
Shiit fats, you’d shiit at the deals they get.. pretty funny!!
If your looking for something hit me with a pm bud
I don't doubt it. Ive been at garage sales where Ill make an offer on something and people will turn me down flat. Then a sweet older people walks up and the owner almost gives it away.
Thanks for the offer if it was for me. Im not into the aluminum ware anymore sold it all off and the wife refuses to cook with it.
Watch fleabay for a lid as there was a matching one to your pot at one point.

Ya it was directed at you... grin
Nice. It’s a hinged lid, just missing the lid. Has to be hammered cast iron not aluminum correct? Probably worth around $300 with the lid.. Griswold is getting pricey.
I’ll take a #9-14 large logo if you run into some..
Copy ros... I’ll put the order in... grin
Yep. Eaten a lot of spuds from an identical pan.

It’s the same thing that makes game deader when killed with a .257 Roberts or a 16 gauge. It just is.
