A Major Award for My Bear Sausage Dip Recipe - 07/13/19

Very simple recipe I have been working on for a very, very long time.
1 onion chopped fine
4 cloves garlic chopped fine
1# bulk pack bear breakfast or Italian sausage
4 ounces cream cheese
about 4 ounces sour cream
Saute onion and garlic in a little butter and remove from skillet when translucent.
Fry the sausage in the same pan and crumble it as it cooks. Add the onions and garlic to the sausage and turn the heat to low.
Then add the cream cheese and mix it all together very well. Add sour cream to lighten the dip and make it somewhat spreadable/dippable. It works with any chips or cracker just fine. It also works fine with any other sausage meat. I use it a lot with both moose and caribou sausage.
