Was thinking the same thing when reading the title. Biscuit type dumplings from Mom's old Good Housekeeping Cookbook. Usually make a big pot and freeze some.

Was a wedding gift, Mom didn't know much about cooking. Now not a cheap shot, Aunt Mary Jane was perhaps the most practical person I've known. But I bet Dad had to explain that to Mom.
