Have had a few great experiences smoking salt and decided to hit it hard tonight despite winds and rain to make most areas curl up in a little ball and hide. But I had turkeys to smoke and it has to be done tonight. Just checked my salt tray of Himalayan pink salt and it is mostly water...

It is nasty... thinking the high winds blew water through the riveted seams and it dripped off the lid...

Maybe I will pickle brine the driveway with it!
