I'd never heard of such a thing but it looked good so I made it. It is very good, especially with a little whipped cream on top. Wife loved it, I made another the next week, added a little cinnamon to it and it was even better. So simple to make. She asked me to not make another one for a bit because she is trying to stay on a low carb diet and if that pie is in the fridge she can't stop herself.

I must have something wrong with the oven, took at least 55 minutes to cook, even bumped the temp 10 deg, but then maybe it's a little over, don't know since i've never made it before....regardless, the kitchen smells marvelous...

i love all things pudding, custard, flan, etc...this did not disappoint.
