Whew, it's hot, it's iced tea season al right.

I've got a glass of Red Rose, and what's left of the block of ice right now.

Like the cool drink, and how?

The only way to make iced tea is to throw a handful of bags into a pickle jar filled with water from a garden hose.

Leave it in the sun until you remember you were making iced tea.

Pour that piss warm concoction into a huge glass of ice.

Then give that glass to a kid, and go crack a beer.

I will repeat (with respect and affection) what appears to be the recipe for iced tea in Canada.

Fill a tall glass half full of ice.
Add sugar to within an eighth of an inch (probably should be in millimeters) of the top.
Add two tablespoons (again, probably should be in milliliters) of chilled tea.
Serve.

Mint, sugar and Wild Turkey need to be involved.

Boil bags on stove, dissolve sugar in strong tea concoction, pour hot sugary tea over ice on a pitcher filled with ice. Refridgerate.

Ask for iced tea, in a Cape Cod breakfast place run by 70 year old brothers, one day.

Crusty old bastid gave me a glass of ice water with a Tea bag in it.

Massholes!

That's the way we do it too. Sometimes a very nice thirst quencher we like is to add peach juice too. Lemon most of the time for us too.

I love everything with sugar. Cokes, candy bars, pies, cakes, everything.

I can't do sugar in my tea.

I do just enough to take the bite out of it. It doesn't taste sweet.

*Another offering from the award-winning producer. Combining the original Gin Smash, along with the addition of black tea and Darjeeling tea creates this adult-inspired drink. Look for flavours of tea, lemon, spice and black licorice. Medium-bodied and lightly sweet, it is crisp and clean on the finish. Enjoy with burgers.

A dozen tea bags in a gallon of water left to sit in the bright sunshine all day long. Pour over a tall glass of ice with maybe a little stevia to tame it down a little.

Prepare to sit there and feel your hair grow.

Luzianne or Red Rose made specifically to be iced. Straight, not sweet. A squeeze of fresh lemon, or as an Arnold Palmer.

We make it in our Bunn coffee maker. One large Luzianne bag, full carafe of water. Allow to mostly cool and then refrigerate.
