Found this guy crossing the road this chilly evening. Picked him up with my Croc and moved him to the grass.

If not, it would have been a dead timber rattler had I encountered it.

Did you stick around to see the heron eat that fish?

Yes, they are.



I watched for awhile and she didn't swallow it. I saw her a little while later and the fish was gone.
