Had an idea for a new Photography thread after posting a few times in the Word Association Thread in the Humor, Jokes, and Riddles section, which can be a lot of fun. Why not do the same thing in here with our photos? For those of us who appreciate the joy of photography it can be a fun way to share our favorite photos and at the same time an opportunity to see other's favorites on the forum.

It may help to title the photo with a 1-3 word title and the next person can post their photo with whatever they associate with the title or the photo itself. I'll go first with one of my favorites of Denali, The Great One. I hope to see lots of your great and awesome outdoors photography here at the Campfire!

MickinColo, he doesn’t look happy in the photo, but actually he stayed calm and very mellow. I had a long lens and didn’t crowd him too much and gave him more space after getting a couple of shots. It was a very positive experience.

Most every summer I plant Sunflowers..........birds luv 'em in the fall

Plenty of water this summer....so was easy to keep them going

Anyhow......several have been freaks growing over 10' tall (pic) (Mammoth variety)

The adult King Parrot is a good looking bird..

The Koel is a tough bird to photograph but after plenty of persistance I scored a nice pic the other day.

These guys never look happy.


but Snowy Owls have a sense of humor.
