Great shot! Hand held too? Even more awesome! I have only seen these birds once. I was leading a photo tour in the Galapagos Islands a couple years back and on the lip of a volcano there were a bunch of these guys. The color is incredible and you captured it perfectly in your shot.

Thank you sir..That red is REALLY hard to expose correctly. Even in this shot, it bleeds together in the head feathers.

Very nice!

I miss my 40d. I had a 300 f/4L and a 1.4x, and that thing was razor sharp even with the 1.4x. I kick myself in the nuts all the time for selling that body and lens.
