I just love the fall for outdoor photography. I picked up this leaf on a hike and took a picture of it with my Iphone. Photo is unaltered.

I am not sure what kind of tree it came off of.. To be honest I am not that great with identifying trees anyway... I found a few great looking leaf's but this one was the best.... Glad you enjoyed it.

Where was it taken? I've seen aspen leaves with similar coloration, but I don't think that is an aspen leaf.

I found this in the San Bernardino forest... on the way up to big bear.... Southern California.
