Unusual visitor at the bird feeder this morning, a northern flicker. Loves the suet. Snapped the pic through the kitchen window, came out pretty good.

It is a good picture of one of my favorite birds. Here they have to battle Starlings for nesting cavity rights. Starlings seem to be winning.

Do you wash windows or hire it done?

Pressure washer is as good as they get.

A tough customer to get shots of in the wild. Seems they know precisely when one is reaching for the shutter.
