Scored a pound of N570 yesterday, any starting points on 120 gr bullet load data using N570. Have a new Encore Bullberry barrel in 264 WM coming and looking for some safe load data to "start" from with N570 and Reloader 33, not much published data out there for either.

Thanks
Aaron

Haven’t ever tried it in mine but someone with QuickLoad might be able to help you out with a decent starting point. 570 and 33 really make some speed in the 264 with 140’s.

Plenty of info here if you do a search. I use RL33 in mine. Search my posts or use "264 RL-33"

This isn’t for either of the powders or bullet you inquired about, but both are close. Hopefully this is helpful to someone.

I shoot a 127 grain Barnes LRX atop 65 grains of RL-26, with a Federal 215 primer. I get 3,220 FPS out of a 26” Krieger barrel and 3/8” 3-shot groups.

I have several pounds of N570 that I use in my 257 Wby. Never have tried it in the 264WM. I have quick load so I will try to work up some load data.

It's the velocity champ in my 26 Nosler. They say it's hard on barrels, so in a barrel burning round,, barrel may not last as long. IMO, they make barrels every day...

570 is a very coarse stick, won't meter thru my Uniflow; it stacks up. I remove the drop tube, drop a charge in a scale pan, tweak the load then into the case.

One of those electronic metering devices would probably work well. I don't have one, don't want one, but it should work well with 570.

Lee dippers and a trickler would probably speed things up and not crunch powder sticks.

That’ll work.

570 is really darned good in my 300 RUM with 220 Scenars and 230 Berger’s. One just above 3000 and the other just below. Waiting on it get to restocked for hunting season to pick one but man 570 has been real easy for me so far.

Not the exact powder you’re asking about, but here’s a .264 load that’s fairly close and that gives me great performance. 65.0 grains of Reloader 26, federal 215 primer, Barnes 127 grain LRX. I get 3,230 FPS and 3-shot groups of 0.335” out of my 26” Krieger barreled Model 70 with that load.

They need to introduce N570 Super short cut.

Those granules are like logs.
