FWIW, my son used this new bullet on his antelope this past Saturday. Range was 540 yards, and Muzzle Velocity was right around 2825. Impact speed was around 2180 by my calculations. Caliber sized entrance with a golf-ball sized exit. My son did the autopsy while I was hiking back to the truck, but said it liquified everything in-between the two holes. Antelope stumbled about three yards before going down.

I did run a TINY little drill bit into each bullet to ensure they weren't plugged before loading fwtw. I'm not suggesting this is the perfect choice for hunting bullet. I'm merely sharing my results. I'll likely switch to the 133 Berger Elite hunting bullets once they are released, but until then this was the next best option for my son's 1:7.5 twisted 25-06.

Story here....ANTELOPE STORY

YMMV
