Anybody used them?

Looking at options for a long range Coyote or possible Antelope gun.

I don't have a howa chassis rifle, but do have howas in chassis'. They are in the mdt lss xl's. They work great for me. They are my rifles that I hunt with the most. I use them anywhere from a truck gun to packing them in the mountains. I actually dropped the first one in the chassis because I found myself hiking some rough terrain carrying my pack, my rifle, my daughters rifle, and most of her gear. After a week of that I decided it was better to pack one heavier rifle that would adjust so we could both use it (she was 11 at the time) and save some weight. The chassis really grew on me and she was very comfortable and shot better with it than her old stock. The only problem I had was for the first while using it my thumb kept looking for the safety in the wrong spot. It felt so much like an ar that safety should have been there!!!

I had one chambered in 6.5 Creed. With H4350 and 130 gr ELD-M bullets it would consistently shoot 1/4 - 3/8" groups. It was a good bench rifle but weighed way too much for hunting and I parted with it.

Howa Chassis Rifles are good to go in my experience. Would not hesitate to buy one.
