Hello all,

anyone looking for them?

Sportsman's warehouse has some and will ship to their stores for free.

I ordered some. Let's see if they actually show up

Cabela's has some online, too. You'll get free shipping for orders $50 or more. A box of 100 is $49.99, luckily I live in ANC and there are two stores for me to do in store pickup. Bonus is I get the gift card from Carr's/Safeway and get gas points. And if you order online through the Alaska Airlines website, you usually get 4 airmiles per dollar spent, sometimes more during the holidays.

Wow, those are spendy. I bought some a couple months ago at Scheels when they were having a 20% off sale. $28/box, so I grabbed 4. I was also there yesterday and grabbed 4 boxes of the Barnes 140gr match burners. Those were $29.99/box of 100. Grabbed 4 of those as well. I'd buy the 140gr SST's for $32/box in town, before I paid $50/box for the 143 eldx... The 143's are nice, but not that nice..

They're piling up at the local SW.

I'd buy some, but I've got a small mountain of 'em already...

I picked up 4 boxes from Graf’s yesterday at 42.99 per. Had a small selection of powder.

One of my boxes walked away Sunday...

The local SW got a big drop of rifle ammo this week that included a stacks of Precision Hunter in 3 cartridges, one of 'em the 143 gr.

I’ve been testing 143 gr. ELD-ax’s in my .260 and 6.5 CM, good accuracy in both.

Work good on my 6.5 STW

They have work good for me on hogs and elk. I’ve also work for her friend of mine who shoots a Creed on pigs and whitetail as well

I like the 143 for being a good crossover bullet, being a LR design that holds together okay on meat. I treat it like a slick SST or NBT.

Took an elk with one at 247 yard . Neck shot , recovered the bullet. 122 grains ! Held together very well !

Mind sharing some more details? Assuming not a broadside type neckshot if you recovered the bullet? Thanks!
Posted By: Sagerunner Re: 143 grain ELDX - 08/28/22
No it wasn't. It was straight on . Went through 5 and stopped in the 5th vertebrae. I would have waited for a broadside shot , but in the area of wa st. i was in it's true spike only and there was someone else pushing/running them . I didn't have long for a shot.

Bet it was an easy tracking job!

Midway has blems but you have to buy 500.
143 gr. blems

Not much to it , it picked it up and went straight over backwards !

Dang..... That's $47/100ct for blems. They sell the .284/150gr for $2 more for regular production-quality bullets. So no bulk discount, and you are paying regular price to get blems. That's kind of sucky....

Sage reloading has them for 39.99 a box,

I gave up on Midway due to their gouging on primers.

If I can wait, or find it on another website, I pass them by.
