Went out today to get some ELR data on the 7mm Mashburn Super Magnum. I'm shooting the 195 grain Berger EOL at 2970 with 72 grains of H-1000

First shot at 1000 was about 2" low of the bull and knocked the plate down. I then moved to 1370 yards and shot this 3-shot group:

I moved on to the longest plate I set up, 1610 yards and put 3 on it:

I won't be trying any RL-33

That can't be real without a ladder test.

Wow.....I can't see 1600 yards!

Excellent!

Got lucky three times! I'd be lucky to see a target 1000 yards away.

Pretty good for a 6x scope.

I've had a long day so - the 3 at 1600yds. is confusing me -is the third hit under the front of the tape measure?

It looks like 3 o'clock in the black.

When I shot my 7mm MSM at 400 with the 168g Berger Classic.
And got 2 inch groups with a 8 pound hunting rifle.
Again H1000.
I had a feeling yours with the 195g, and a tad bit more weight, would be good to go, for as far as you'd care to shoot it.
Impressive.

Browning action, Bartlein 1-9, Leupold Mark 4 M5A2 FF LR ERT 6.5-20, McMillan A3-5

It was amazing to see the first impact at 1370 hit right where the crosshairs were held and just get bigger and blacker in the scope after shooting each of the next two.

Not bad for an amateur! grin

I wish I had a place where I could shoot past 300 yards.

He once fired five shots offhand at a 12" square and hit five times. The range was 1000 yards.

I've beaten Tubb in a state match.... but never Tubbs... LOL

I've shot a lot against him and generally lost, but I try to make the correction where I can.

Nice shooting. Now time to set the chamber back one turn. Seriously, did your drop confirm the published BC?

Browning action. I love it.

They're pretty slick. The receiver/barrel threads are 32 TPI. I think it eliminates slop.

Wish there was some bottom metal available for AI mags

That's amazing. I'd be happy with that at 4 or 5 hundred! blush

Too bad about that group size. If you p;an to ditch the rifle and get one that shoots I might be willing to take it off your hands... wink
