Yeah.

Tom
You won't have any problem. I have 9 HS sporter stocks (REMINGTON 700'S). 4 of those stocks were for long magnum action. The rest are on long actions and short magnum actions . I like the HS stocks with cheek piece. The HS stocks work well with #4, and #5 and light palma contours, as I have rebarreled a lot of my factory barrels. I just have 1/2 inch of shank cut off.

My R700 338 Rum is all factory aside from the timney trigger and is bedded in an HS Precision stock with their DBM. As to accuracy before and after I couldn't say as I never shot it before the swap but it will shoot the 210 TSX and 250 scenars under 3/4" for 5 at 100 yds. I have never shot it past 550yds on game but I sure works well at killing.

I got a good deal on the stock and DBM and have been perfectly happy with it.

Their recoil pads suck. They are too hard. As far as accuracy improvement I could not tell you . Any after market stock, would be better than a tupperware stock. I replaced my stocks with HS stocks and had them bedded, before I shot them.
