Has anyone had any experience with these in a 260, if so how did they shoot accuracy wise?
I tried their 52 grain 22 bullet and it didn't do nearly as well as the Sierra, so am a bit hesitant to try them, but they are a lot cheaper and easier to get here than anything else of that type.
I just finished load development on a 6.5 creed I built for a friend. The Nosler 140 hpbt custom comp was the most accurate.
A stiff load of RL-17 with the Nosler bullet produced 3 shots groups in the .35 inch range.
I shoot a bunch of the Nosler Comp stuff in .308 and it is 1-holer. In my .260 I am shooting 142 NABLR so I cannot help specific to the 6.5 Comp but would imagine they would shoot well. I use H4831SC for 140-142 grain pills.
Has anyone used them on game? I can't imagine why you would with so many other good bullets like all the other Noslers but just curious.
Thanks for the replies
You in castle rock wa. I'm up the road and have some if you want to try them.
The nos cc in 308 win have been great. Haven't used the 6.5 yet.
I've run around 1,200 of the 140gr Nos CCs through my RPR with good results. They shoot quite well out of that rifle, the oal is such that I'm currently loading to 2.78" and am 20 thou off the lands. I use the Litz G7 BC of .281 to get my starting come ups and things matched up quite well. There are slicker fancier bullets out there, but for me the CCs are a killer value given how they shoot. I picked up my last order of 1k from Shooters Pro Shop for $192 shipped... Hard to beat that.
I run them in 4 6.5s. They do very well. I'm trying the RDFs too and they shoot just as well IME.

IIRC not quite as good of a BC as the Bergers, but about 1/2 the price also...
