A TH stock sho nuff ain't pretty but she sure feels sexy and since nothing was wammied over 500 yds, not truly LR. That said she has handled well this year and last on Lowcountry public minus the worthy one.

Of course there is a Keystone 12 pack and solar powered dremel tool tucked neatly in the cheek love pack just in case.

7 saum 140 TTSX at 3k and Berg Classic 168s at 2850.. Don't know why the bolt knob has gone silver like that or why the climber looks so ratty wink.. Ranges from 1fiddy to 4fiddy taken mostly on longer straight away logging roads through pine savannah with swamp borderings.

She used to swap glass occasional but now just runs NXS and somehow she got left out of the biggie pic, shame on me.

Freebie obligatory 22 mag pic and meat stickn added for flavor, just because I love our squirrel season .. 22 mag at 175 yds not LR either but not to shabby. She don't have a TH on her ...yet smile

I really like the feel of a thumbhole stock when shooting it....just hate being caught carrying one around. wink

Whats the reason for leaving the hide on the quarters. Coming from po dunk Alaska where we always take the hide off ASAP we don't know any better, but I am sure there is a reason.
I don't mind being seen with a TH as long as she keeps her lips sealed lol.

Those couple days it was all you could do to breathe for the mosquitoes and no see ums aka biting midge, so it was a quick quarter, hang on stick and run. Im sure you know the drill with black flies, now add in 95* and 100% humidity plus the clouds of biters.

Usually skin, debone and pack it out.
TH stocks are like fat chicks and mopeds. Lol.

Don’t own one, but the few I have shot actually felt pretty damn good, if a bit bulky.

That is an apt description of them certainly and more diplomatic than how I was thinking of saying it. wink
Where did you get the cheek pack?
That looks like a triad stock pack! I love mine!
Great pics-nice collection of critters there. Thanks for posting them.
What do you do with the thumb hole if you need to shoot left handed?
I hold it upside down or silently invert my climber of course, jeez.

In all seriousness though i just switch hands and pull the trigger, you dont have to use the hole on a thumbhole.

What other stock provides the perfect holder for a spit cup, beer can or bottle of Mtn Dew all the while looking sexy a phug?
When you turn the thumbhole upside down.... do you also have to switch which side of your pack your Frankenstud Slingamarig is on? I’d hate to have to do that.

Well no sir. Matter of fact my Dad installed a #5 bull nose ring on me when I was 3 to keep me from running off so often..so I I just slang her there instead.
A Google image search of XXX thumbholing is interesting!
Nice hole.

Tanner
best put a little fur around it, so's you can find it quickly.....
Better get good without it.

Schidt has damn near made the endangered species list at this point.
Nice Lamb.

The Thrilla in Manila. Pay for the thumb and get the fingers for free?
Yall are a bunch of skanks lol.

Awhile back or rather over several years I decided I needed to recoup some money sitting in the safe so I sold all my Mcmillians to include an A5, couple of A3s an HTG and a Game scout or two as well as a few Manners MCSTs and bought a bunch of Boyds lightweight varmint TH for 120 each shipped. At the same time I dumped my SNB Pms and IORs and went all NXS.

Fitted them all to the rigs and bottom metal of which I kept- a 7 saum, a 308 and a 300 Rum and kept a spare short action and long stocks all for around the price of one Micky or Manners .. Left over short will be going on a 6.5 Hillbilly and long on a 7 Rum both in process.

BTW I haven't had to bed a single one of them as they stayed in the .3s after restocking. I have never had a poi change in several hundred rounds down each from moisture, temp changes or otherwise. I suspect there is just enough soft love in the laminate that the action beds itself to the stock with an over torque of slightly 25lbs for a day or so then back to standard torque then run em.
Oopsy, this one was THd with a TTSXwhich knocked the snorkle right of her mouth this evening.

I run a TH on a 308 improved "aka 243". They aint for pu$$ies
I love thumb holed stocks.
Ya'll have about flung a craving on me to try one. What do you thumbhole fans think of the Blazer Professional Success stock? I would have to sell several but I've been thinking of doing just that lately anyway.
If you have a blazer and the funds, you only live once buddy.

I might be worried about the thinness of the stock but connections but otherwise I like it.

I have a hard time moving away from the Boyds now that I have beat them to daggum death and the price is great.

I would like to run the MPI silhouette but they are pricey as well.
