805, it's a Manners PRS-2. Seekins M5 Precision DBM.
I'm certain it won't be the last. Lol. I have a Brown's Precision Pound'r I found a heck of a deal on. Shipping was 10% of my cost lol.
I've always wanted to shoot long(er) range. I found a new local range with steel out to 1k. Figured I should make my dreams come true. I didn't wanna dedicate a rifle to a certain discipline yet. Something that'll kinda do all....the PRS-2 stock seemed to check the blocks.
I bought a Bartlein Sendero profile
Went over to Kelblys a week and a half ago. They are going to do the chambering and screw it on an Atlas Tactical and put on one of their new Claw self timing brakes with a Bix n' Andy Dakota.
Chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua throated for the 130-140s.
Seekins rings and for now, my Vortex HST on top.
I think it'll be a great rig. Should come in around 11 pounds.
Should have the barreled action before too long....as long as the action fits the stock as well as the bottom metal does, I will do the bedding myself.
AK, can't see myself parting with it lol. I just can't decide what it wants to be.
I have a Kimber Montana in 358win. I have a couple "voids". A lightweight small caliber..."walking varminter" of sorts and plinker...maybe another x47.
Maybe an "out west" rifle. 7mm SAW or 300wsm. Something that'll extend my range on elk after the 358 drops from the sky...
Probably going to run another Kelbly Atlas on it too. It's a 700 SA BDL footprint. I do have a m700 SA I might just use too. Figured I saved so much on the stock, it too can get a nice action. Lol. Not looking to go crazy lightweight. The 19oz stock takes care of ounce counting. Sub 7lbs scoped will probably be fine.
Not in a hurry on it as I have no immediate use for it. I honestly couldn't let the stock sit for sale at the price I paid. I knew what they run new. And lovey Kimber so why not build another similar. Lol
