I got the idea yesterday late afternoon I wanted to paint the otherwise boring factory stock on my Tikka T1X.

Decided on the sponge paint method and was going for a Manners inspired look.
Came across this older thread for guidance.

1. Prep was simple, wiped it down with alcohol on a microfiber.
2. Made a puddle of paint on cardboard, pressed sponge into the paint to absorb the paint, press sponge against the stock.
3. Gave it several coats of clear.

Here’s what I used.

That in reference to the paint or the tires?

I'm not sure about the Rustoleum as I haven't had it on but a few hours.
It'll be easy and cheap to repaint when it comes time.

Very nicely done. I'll likely be doing something similar to mine later this summer.

I'm quite pleased.
Cheap and easy.
Looks good. I like the Rustoleum camo a whole lot and have used it now as the basis for three stock projects.
Who’s bolt knob?
