Considering a rebarrel job for a bolt gun. The McGowan cut-rifled option is intriguing to me. Anyone have one? Feedback?

Have a Remage setup on a m700SA I built a 450 Bushmaster with. Don't think cut was an option. It is stainless and cerakoted by them.


Only have 25-30rds through it.


I'm happy. Seems like it's gunna be a shooter.


I have zero complaints and considering another one for a "switch barrel" I only need the bushy in the fall. Thinking I need another 22cal.

I have one of their button barrels, it arrived with some chatter marks in the rifling. However, the replaced it with no questions asked. Customer service was excellent in my opinion. Their cut rifle barrels do demand a premium though. If I was to go cut rifled, I’d go with Brux.

Didn't know they made a 20 cal cut rifled barrel.
