Thanks!! Chuck Grace has my best by far Screwbean blank in his hands now and will be carving his trademark sporter to be put on the Predator action, Krieger tube, Kiff bottom metal that he is supplying to the Remmy custom shop. This is for my 300 Jarrett that I dropped off the reamers to Speedy last weekend in Trinidad and cant wait for the finished product.

BH;

That's gorgeous!

Looking very forward to seeing what the bolt action stocks with all the figure turn out like. Stunners, for sure...
Looks awesome.

That could possibly be the first custom stocked .308 Marlin.
Thanks grin

Mesquite has poked so many holes in my hide, I never thought it could be gorgeous. But that stock is!

Great job, thanks for showing us.

That is sharp, you know if looks good if you drew a compliment from CAS..grin
really looks good as a two-piece stock. i sure could see screwbean stocks on ruger no. 1s and such ... as well as bolt guns.
Thanks for the thumbs up! Yes CAS does have different taste in wood as mine runs a little towards the exotic side however, I do like his latest project a very very much!
Dark side wink wink I have a few other Marlins that are pretty neat---when I get back home this weekend I will post the pics. grin

Very nice. I'm very familar with Mesquite and it's relatives.
An excellent choice of rifles. E
Boss,

I am in need of a good levergun stock man for restocking a couple pre64 model 94 and 92 lever guns in walnut. Can you give some details such as who did the work and turnaround time, hopefully local to DFW. The mesquite looks good on that marlin but man those thorns suck when hunting/working out west.

Left the chaps in the truck since it was only going to be a 5 minute job and ended up with a 2 inch scare on outside of right knee from having thorn surgically removed from behind right kneecap. Did i mention mesquite sucks, but the rifle looks great.

Thanks,

TxT
