Decided to start on a little project I've been kickin around. Plan is to build a 300 Whisper, 1 in 8 twist, 16.5" ss barrel on a Savage Model 12BVSS in .223 cal.

What am I in for? This is gonna be my first custom rifle. The barrel is no problem. Neither is the suppressor. Will I have problems with the bolt?

Any other issues I ain�t mentioned? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have no personal experience however, go over to snipershide, there's info on it.

Since it started life as a 223 your bolt should be fine. I use Redding 311/221 dies. What other questions do you have?

PMC, The bolt was my biggest concern. Just hoping I didn't miss anything.
