Well, my reamers are ordered so now I need to find some die blanks.

I see Midway sells some Callahan blanks for $25 but they're a special order item with a 60-day lead time. I can't find a website or any other info on who's actually making them either to see if ordering direct would be faster.

Newlon Precision make some as well, but at $60/each they're a little pricey IMO.

Anyone else offer them?

Basically just need a sizing blank as making a custom sleeve for a Forster micrometer seating die is quick and easy.

BTW, if anyone has some once fired .300 RCM brass they'd like to sell I'd be interested. wink

My smith has made some for me out of old SS barrels but that was expensive. Have one made on a Newlon blank, excellent quality. Haven't tried any others.Rick.

Try zhat as well. They are a little less expensive than Newlon.

Just call Forster and order a blank.

Thanks all. Found out the Callahan brand that Midway sells is mostly stuff made by Dave Kiff out at PT&G. Just had him add a die blank to my reamer order.
