Anybody had a rifle coated in this color of Cerakote? IIRC Doug Bourche(Not sure of the spelling) at ultracoatingsinc.com(formerly "Fit for Duty")said it was the closest color match to a blued firearm.

From their websight pictures it does look very similar to bluing but not much different from graphite black. Doesn't look purple at all.

Who has seen this color personally on a firearm?

CAS did my 9.3 in that color and it came out as a matte blue look. I like it, it matches my leupold pretty danged close.
