Do ya'll reckon I could get my Sako 85 bolt fluted like everyone does to the Rem 700's? I like the look. See any reason not to?

I think Kampfeld could hook you up. I have a 85 338 Federal and have been kicking around the idea myself. I have seen a few that Karl has done on the Sako 75s and its about the same.

Yap, Karl can do it.

I think it looks cool but wonder if it would collect dirt/random crap?

If you do flute it you should have the smith check the amount of play in the rear end of the bolt.

He may need to sleave the rear of the bolt to remove any excess play.
