well, how much?

ive got an old Navy Arms 1858 Army revolver that was destroyed by rust in a flood.

gun functions flawlessly, but is UGLY. i will be welding up the pitting, and filing everything back to normal, polishing, and trying a re-blue. if this doesnt work, due to discoloration from the weld spots, i want to cerakote it.

so, how much?

no answer to your question regarding cost but I will say i sure hope you know what you are doing welding. Personally I would look at other options first before I started welding on the thing. What kind of welder are you thinking of using?

tig welder. im just welding up the spots where the pitting ate huge holes in the frame. its only 3 spots. im going to take my sweet time about it so as not to get the frame so hot it warps.

nobody here does cerakote anymore?
