Does anyone have a recommended vendor? Have you ever had a Cerakote horror story? I ask because I have a few rifles I want done and have had only one experance, which was positive. What's a good rate?

I believe many members used Eddie Fosnaugh with good results.

I use a local guy. He lives 15 miles from me and he does damn good work. Fast turn around time. His charge on rifles is $175.00. If I didn't use this guy, I'd be looking Eddie up. From what I've seen, Eddie's work is second to none.. Very top notch..

Branden at Custom Gun Coatings has done numerous rifles for me. The quality is always perfect and the service he provides is exceptional.

John Brandstatter in Pueblo West Colorado just did this one for me.

I thought he did a very nice job.
The stock on this one is Tungsten and the metal is Titanium.

Eddie has done two rifles for me. One in sniper grey and one in black. Both are perfect and Eddie is easily contactable.

Lots of good choices. Not rocket science although I have seen poorly done ceracote jobs.

Your best bet is to go to the Cerakote applicator locater tool and look up the Certified Applicators nearest you.

Eddie does great work done a few for me

Cerakote increases velocity; not only is there NO pressure increase, but there is a pressure decrease, as well as a net 0.239 second reversal in the space-time continuum.

I have the numbers to prove it.
RWE:

I'm on to you very heavily duty.

Please keep it civil.

Ready-go-,I'm all ears.

Shouldn't that be "heavy dutily"?
DUH!

A simple answer deserves a simple question

WET

Do you know who knows the most about Cerakote?

The Gun Writers!

Post your question in the "Ask The Gun Writers" forum and I'm sure you'll get an answer.

William I'd appreciate it if you start your own topic about Cerakote. Also, I am sure there is a wealth of info out on the web about it.

WET why don't you vet and prove the product. Then report back.

Or perhaps you could reach out to your alter ego Kendall Dace for assistance.

Small fry; think of Cerakote as baked on paint. Cerakote is good paint. A good paint job is all in the prep work.

I ain't askng but thanks. I know what it is and have it on one of my rifles, I was just looking for vendors!
