Love to see what people have done.

Working on a project now that will have a black graphite cerakote action, stainless matte barrel, and black stock.

May be open to painting the stock something other than black. Just not too sure about the black/stainless combo.
No pic for you, but I always think that metal combo looks sharp with a grey stock with black webbing.
Hiaring8;
Good evening to you sir, I trust the weekend treated you well and you're ready as you'd hoped to be for the upcoming week.

While this isn't a black action, it is blued with a stainless barrel.

It's our youngest daughter's rifle, a 722 action with a 700 trigger, ADL stock and trigger guard and a RKS stainless match barrel chambered in .250AI.

It worked for her on a good number of local whitetail and mulie bucks and is a mild recoil/report sort of setup so it's easy to do good work with.

Hopefully that was at least somewhat useful for you sir. Good luck with your build whichever way you decide.

Do the slow twists suck the eye relief out of the scopes?

It does not surprise me that you are the first to notice.

But yes.

Yes they do. grin
I wanted to make sure the OP didn't think it was the black & stainless combination itself doing it.

Mine's a 12 twist. Back in '95 when I put it together that was about it.
Here's a photo of four of my pre-64 customs. As you can see, the top rifle (.270) and the third rifle down (.338) both have blued actions and stainless barrels. Hope that helps.
