I'm planning a 22" #3 Bartlein build in 6.5 Creedmoor on a custom R700 clone action. Is there anyway I can buy a McMillan or Manners stock off the shelf in standard or sendero contour? If so which one, I don't want to wait

Does a 3 have enough meat on it to thread?

Thanks ahead of time

The Bartlein #3 is the same as a Krieger #4 or a Brux #4........yes there is enough to have it threaded, no problem!!

As far as finding a stock on the shelf with that particular barrel channel inlet, it may be a little tougher straight from Manners or McMillan....keep your eyes open on the classifieds for one from a fellow member.

Hope this helps!!
What can you plan on using?
I've used Rock Creek #4 contour barrels, et al, in McMillan stocks inletted for the Varmint/Sendero barrels. If the gap between the barrel and stock is that 'annoying' you can always fill the barrel channel with epoxy mixed with micro ballons, to keep the weight down a tad.

No can , yet. I just want to have it done and a brake timed at the same time to cover everything.

Does anybody have a pic of a 4 or Bart 3 in a sendero stock?
