Have a Voere Titan II in 243, nice rifle but 243 isnt exciting to me......I also have a Krieger 26" barrel already chambered for 6.5x284.

Barrel measures 1.18 2" from breach face, 1.17 @4" and 1.15@ 6". Is there enough material there to have 284 chamber cut off and barrel re-chambered and threaded to install on my Voere donor?

factory Voere barrel is 1.15 at the front of the receiver

who to suggest to do the work?

I’m not sure but think the Titan action may use a Mauser thread pattern, I know my Voere Black Forest does. If so, the thread diameter is 1.1” and about 5/8” long. If all that is true you should be fine.

How’s that for wild speculation

seams like Voere and Mauser 99 Kleingenther (sp?) 15 ....all same?

black forest, shikar ,k14 and some parker ballard versions are of different design then the titan II , k15, and the mauser 99 and 225....Best bet for some good info. would be to get ahold of KDF in Sequin (sp) Texas as they used some of those actions for awhile after the kleinguenther transition....... 830 379 8141
