I just got this back a couple days ago and got to shoot it today. It's wearing a #2 Shilen SS 1-8, cut to 20" and threaded.

So far it feeds everything I give it, thought I will probably block the magazine and shorten the follower.

I am going to have to put some paint on that shiny barrel.

Oh yea, removed the windage knob and added the high dollar cap. Forgot the blue tape. LOL

What SWFA SS are you running. And do I dare ask how it shoots? Did you glass bed it and do all the other 50 trick moves to ensure it's going to shoot well? Nice looking rifle and range..

The red cap on the scope is the best part.
Very Nice

What threads did you go with on the skinny thing.
It is shooting between 1/2- 1" MOA at to 300 with light 58gr vmax. I am shooting a straight 6x scope. It was threaded for 1/2x28 with an adaptor to 5/8x24 for my can. I tried some Sierra 70 bk's in it, a load from another rifle and it was doing about 1 MOA.

I did glass bed it and had to slightly open the barrel channel, but not much. I pretty much checked all the " tricks" that I knew of when it was a factory 243.
Nice rifle. Sounds like a great shooter.
Very nice

Nice rifle. I shoot called coyotes so not long range. Probably the best results for killing with Sierra 60gr HP. Had pretty good results with the 75gr V-Max but didn't use it a lot. If it is feeding fine, I wouldn't mess with it.

With the 8” twist, are you going to try any of the heavies?

A Kimber in a 6BR would be a FUN lil' rifle to own..
It would cover 90%+ of the hunting I do these days..
Would be interested in hearing how it is on fur as I haven't used a 6mm on coyotes..
