Does anyone know any marks that could identify a Paul Jaeger Built rifle. I have one I bought years ago off armslist, the seller was closing out a estate and I acquired a 308 norma on '03 action, it says Jaeger on the trigger, the seller thought it was and it looks like ones I have seen pictures of on the net, it has no engraving anywhere.

Thanks in advance.
A Jaeger trigger does not necessarily mean it's a Jaeger Rifle. I'm sure he would have used his triggers on his rifles , but they were also available as "aftermarket" items. I have a couple "customs" so equipped.

This thread: http://doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=462889 might help on the ID of your rifle.
Thanks for the info I will take a closer look at it, and take off the baseplate and see what it says under there.
The only Jaeger rifles I have seen were marked on the barrel. Have you taken it apart to see if there is more?
