Why are there a ton of custom actions that are Rem 700 clones, but no one makes a custom based off of the Rem Model 7. It seems like it would be a great lightweight option, without going to a custom Ti action.
Good question, but it seems there aren't as many aftermarket parts and pieces avaialable for the Model 7 as the 700 . Also, between the short and long Rem 700 style actions you have a huge amount of versatility with regard to cartridges, magazines, and bullet choices simply due to the design of the actions- not so much with the Model 7's. If someone were to make a Model 7 clone, it wouldn't have the market and would be more of a boutique piece without enough market to recoup costs of design and manufacture, IMO.
Short answer: there would no point. Magazine is the same, weight is slightly less but not that much. GD

Is not the model 7 a rebranding of the model 600 with some safety upgrades?
