Anybody got pics they’d like to share? Think steelhead mightta had one? Gettin ready to order one for my prc, like some ideas. Thanks
Jud,
I sold this one to another member here (this is his finished rifle).
IIRC it was 70/15/15
Thanks scott. Yellow, black, white?
Affirmative on the first two though it's possible the third color was light gray (rather than white).
Steelhead had one of the first on here and probably the best looking one. It's probably a Photobucket smear stock at best now if you can find a picture at all. Lots of history on here lost to them.
Cool, gonna be all stainless as well, it’ll look good
There is a similar one here that gives color percentages:

I was thinking of doing a flame like this but in reverse with yellow up front to black at the rear. Never did though.
Maybe Scott will come along, but I found the following:

Photobucket has captured the picture.
I still have the stock pictured above by SKane. It’s 60% yellow, 30% black and 10% light grey. It’s my favorite color McSwirley.

I like that combo. I agree on the third color. I always choose light grey over white. To me, it is a better choice. The color is light, but not too light. A great "mixer" color to blend and offer some contrast.
I believe DeFlave has one also on a Howa action. You could do a search and find them if photo bucket is not prohibitive. Really like the look.
