23 degrees this morning at gobble time. Almost stayed in the house. But it was clear......wind was laid down.....I was up.

Drove to my favorite listening spot and walked a circle around the hilltop and heard a group of birds fire up off the corner of a field. I got to where I cold check it out and they were on the ground in near darkness. 6:15 and they were strutting and gobbling up a storm !!! I had Momma's truck instead of mine. And my binos were in mine. But at 650-ish yards, I could make out at least 3 strutters. So, that was a nice bonus to the REAL money shot of the day.................

Again........... I'm sure another quality, helpful and, likely, complimentary post.

I'm kinda a big guy to be living, full time, in such a small head, Luther. How about just lettin' it go ?? grin

Great sunrise shots! One of the many "perks" of turkey hunting. Ain't it great?!

No sunrise to view here today, another inch of snow and temps in the teens...

Great pictures and the best kind of turkey sign to have....turkey's! Sounds like a target rich environment

That particular corner is one of my favorites.

It's where turkeys roost the night before they die.

As soon as you come clean I'll let it go....
Single digit temps this morning...
Posted By: Yoder409 Re: Cold turkey and sunrises - 03/12/22
Yeah.

What a difference a day makes, huh ??

It's actually warmer here this morning than yesterday morning. It's just this 6 inches of snow that sorta messes things up.............
Posted By: pullit Re: Cold turkey and sunrises - 03/12/22
Yesterday it was high of 70, today snow and a high of 33
Posted By: Yoder409 Re: Cold turkey and sunrises - 03/12/22
Yeah.

Going out to fire the Kubota up, now.

I'd sure rather be going out to mow grass than to plow snow, but..........

Yoder409 I'm going to ask you again since you bragged about it then you trashed me when I questioned you about it.

Who "in the turkey hunting and choke tube industry paid you for over two decades" ?

I know you put me on ignore when I asked you....here's a fact I'm not going to stop asking until you answer.

Yoder409 you're the one that bragged about your fAme....you want it to pass answer the riddle and make a public apology for trashing me and trying to run over me.

High Noon at the OK Coral or leave town Yoder409.....

Still waiting on an answer.
Posted By: Yoder409 Re: Cold turkey and sunrises - 05/06/22
Now, WHY would a guy drag up 2 month old sunrise pictures ???

Replying to one's own 2 month old post is a sign of something............... Let it go, Luther. Your relevancy here is highly in doubt to begin with. Pathetic grasps at straws isn't helping bolster much of anything positive for you. wink

But.........then again.........you've never been our princess of positivity, so much. grin

When I get on a turkey I don't let up until my foot is on his head.....

When I run up on an internet phony like you that talks down to me like you did I'm not letting up.
