Now that my big game hunting is over for the year, and my rifles have been cleaned and stored, I'm getting familiar with my new Mossberg 500. Every time there is a dusting of snow here there are a gazillion turkey tracks on the logging roads. Are any of you ready?

Scouted three new tracts of land this past weekend. Lots of sign and all the right ingredients to hold em there through springtime. I never stop scouting turkey myself. It should be a great opener in South Carolina this year.<P>John Coit
I have been ready since last spring but in reality i don't really get to do a lot of scouting until around Mar and Apr because i have so far to drive to my hunting spot.<P>

<B>Slamfire</B>, I can't wait till the spring season myself!!! I want to get a new set of camo's and turkey vest before the season starts here in New York State. Just think, March 21st is the first day of spring!!<P>------------------<BR> <B>"Spring Season......the Best"</B><p>[This message has been edited by maytom (edited January 09, 2001).]

Maytom we only have 3 months and 22 days to go.....I'm about to go nuts waiting, but I'm busy making calls, so it does help pass the time.
