Iv not kept up on the savage pistols in awhile, run across a 1917 in 380 I'd say 98 percent condition. Has the duller finish with the curved hammer. Going to look up the date, just wondering what there going for now. Like everything else price is high.

I put it in LayAway, he had 600.00 on it, came down to 550.00, it's very nice shape, so pulled the trigger. I'm set for 380 ammo, and have a Kimber, that I'm not fond of, probably trade it in on the savage!

Grading 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60%
.380 ACP cal. $850 $725 $550 $425 $350 $300

Current Blue Book, for what it is worth. If grading 98% then you did well.

Greetings Saddlering, what model and type do you need? How many?

As a new/low posting user, Savage1907 might not be able to receive PM's yet. Isn't there now some mandatory minimum number of posts before PM's work?

Yes and I don't know what the rules are? Haven't really looked either...

I would have thought a global notice would have been given?

He might be grandfathered in considering he's been on for a long time. Cool.

Working for me now ! smile

Just picked up the 1917, hoping to shoot it tomorrow! Serial number ends in a B, if I add it to the date look up says Not listed, if I just punch in the #s it says 1920 to 23. The store gives you the option of buying a box of ammo with the gun so I picked up a 50 round box for $26.99 not seen any 380 ammo since last August. Around here.
