Tac - 10/14/21
Does anyone use this powder in 250 or 300 Savage? My supply of 4895 is getting low and I have a chance to get 3 lbs of Tac. My charts show a burn rate between 335 on the fast side and 4895 on the slow slide. Thanks , Mike

Mike, I use TAC for my 358's and it's extremely accurate in my rifles with the 180 gr Barnes TTSX.

I've got enough IMR 4895 for a while so the 300 isn't a problem. I have dabbled with TAC in the 358, mine is inconsistent with it so I went back to IMR 4320. Not sure what I will do when I run out of that. 
Looking at load data online, 2520 might be an option for both the 300 and 358.

its temp sensitive, very good for the .223 heavy bullets, I would go to Varget

Dale I had pretty good luck with Acc2520 and 150s in the 300S. Worth a try. I think if I had to settle on one powder for all my 300 loads it would be imr3031. No experience with TAC.
