It's time. Better me than my widow I guess. I'll continue listing as I have weak moments. Open to ideas as I'm not completely dead yet. LOL

I'd love to have that 32-40. Way beyond my pay grade, though. πŸ’”

I tied all my play money up for quite a while in a rebarrel on my first EG and an 1873 Win repro, so I don't see any more 99s in my near future.

That 32-40 is way beyond my pay grade too. A real collector needs it, not me.

My name is Roy. I'm a ditchdigger. I shoot post mils. LOL

All of mine are pre-mil... actually all pre 700,000, but that's just incidental.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a post-mil if it was in a cartridge I wanted, and the price was right. The ones I have I just happened across at acceptable prices to me. I'm a shooter, not a collector, I get 'em to run 'em.

Some beautimous guns there, Roy.

A .32-40 (or .38-55) 1899 would be just the ticket to draw me out of my Savage slump. "I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a .32-40 Savage today!" (With apologies to Wimpy in the old Popeye cartoons.)

Very Nice shooters there Roy, The 284 Citation is hen's teeth for sure, ... but alas, I just killed my last chicken for tomorrow's supper, and threw the head out to the dogs before I checked for teeth!

I think they get better the deeper they go.

270? Did someone say 270?

What’s this? Surely not a .270 Winchester in a 99. Please explain.
Posted By: JoeMartin Re: Paring down - 11/25/21
Could be a 270 Titus. I thought that one was gone? It's also called a 270 Savage. 300 S necked down to 270.

3 out of 4 spf. 32-40 remains.
Posted By: gnoahhh Re: Paring down - 12/01/21
That .32-40 is an incredible hunkahunka burnin' love. Worthy of swapping one's first-born.

Have son,34, knows plumbing, air conditioning, appliance repair, was a Navy Corpsman so he can fix you up if you get hurt. A decent welder also. Will trade him and a 1000.00 for the 32-40?????

Only bad thing is he eats a lot.
