Arthur had left Savage Arms by ~1905 so anything after that was Savage Arms responsibility, not Arthur.
1914 musket? Montreal Home Guard? A quantity was built and shipped, but not by Arthur.
Arthur had a torpedo patent. Not sure any were made or used. Possibly.
He made a small number proto-type rifles leading toward the Model 1895 Savage Rifle including the failed 1896 rifle trials.
He dabbled in other things as well, a tack hammer comes to mind.
Arthur and son Basil attempted to establish a gun manufacturing plant in CA long after he had left Savage Arms/Utica. It didn't work out although it sounds like they did make a quantity of Colt 1911 slides during that time.
Otherwise, he tried an orange grove, a tire factory and probably other things.

The best available biography for Arthur Savage is in Bailey Brower's Savage Pistol Book.

Are you asking about contracts he lost out on? Contracts he won? Inventions he was involved with? Military items only?

And I don't know how much of that torpedo patent was actually Arthur. I've run across mentions before that Halpin did most of the initial design and work and Arthur took over to help finish it and market it when Lt. Halpin was pulled away. Even ran into one reference that said the patent was signed back over to Halpin and never should have been in Arthur's name - but it still shows up in Arthur's name.

Two of his sons were prolific patent writers, Arthur J. Savage was the one involved with a new Savage gun company in San Diego - named "A.J. Savage Munitions Co". I'm sure Arthur W. had input, some of Arthur W.'s patents right after he left Savage Arms were reassigned to Arthur J's name. This company produced the Savage slides found on some Colt 1911's, though I think most of what Arthur J. and Basil did was develop patents to sell to other companies.

Arthur W. started off with a fiber cleaning patent that he created in Jamaica, and we'll never know exactly how many he was involved with since he worked with his sons and put things in their names (non-compete clauses existed even back then grin).

thanks all, I came across some info on savage items that the US gov. turned down, most everyone knows about the musket and .45, had not seen any thing on the torpedo, the article stated that the Brazilian gov. did buy, not said how many. it stirred up my curiosity about savage arms inventions

Hopefully some day we will find definitive evidence on whether or not Arthur produced 1911 slides for the government. This has been a topic of 1911 collectors for several years. Recent evidence is starting to lean towards no. One of the latest discoveries was a memo dated 5/27/1921 from the Ordnance Department stating that slides were again being manufactured, but it did not specifically say by Springfield Armory (the armory had not for several years). Also, recently an M1903A barrel was found with the same circled S flaming bomb stamp.
