I was just putting my Savage Health-Motor away and noticed something..

Ithink all the cases for these have the same brand of latches on the cases - Eagle Lock Co., Terryville Conn. Eagle Lock Co. was a very large company manufacturing locks and latches.

I think the Savage Health-Motor came out in late 20's. I'd say a pretty good likelihood that the Health-Motor case is also a Winship made case considering Winship was close to Savage Arms in Utica, and we know Savage was contracting with Winship at the time. No emblems or name in it that I can see, though.

Just another piece of trivia to see if anything ever pops up to clarify for sure.

Hee hee... haven't had any deer heart yet this year!

Bruce also got a small Oster hand massager to go along with it - not a Savage item. But the cord is rated for "direct current up to 115 volts, or alternating current up to 60 cycles".

When was the last time anybody saw an electrical plug rated for AC and DC?
