I've been thinking about the upcoming get-togethers of We Brethren in this Year of Our Lord, 2023. Pick one, or both, and get there. The scope of each is a wee bit different, but both center around our single make predilection, the Savage rifle. The Fest is rather more focused, the Rendezvous a little more informal. Either way, one cannot conceive of better fellowship with like-minded souls who revere The Rifle. Time? Money? Yeah, both are a concern, but think back on the times you said the heck with such concerns in your life - I'll bet those times stand out in your memory.

We who have rubbed shoulders here these last 20 years or so (and sometimes rubbed each other the wrong way!), and recent newcomers too, owe it to ourselves to step outside of the digital world and make the effort to look each other in the eye - and smile.

I would absolutely love it if the gang from New England came en masse. Y'all know who you are: LBK, Loggah, Plab, et al. We ain't gettin' any younger. (And LBK, bring Nan, seriously she'd be welcome. Hell, if she can put up with you, she can put up up with us! I promise I'll keep my farting/spitting/off color speech under control, or at least out of ear-shot! Loggah, can Cheryl come, even if you don't?? grin )

Just. Do. It.
The more the merrier. That'll give you fellas a chance to put ol Fireball to pasture. This is how we do it out west.

I know the Rendezvous is in Noxen, PA in August. Has a place and dates for the Fest been determined?

Jaack,
Yes, The Fest, Wellsboro, PA, 23, 24, 25 June.
Hope you can be there.
Does anybody know of a way to block specific images from displaying in a browser?

Seems to be a problem with this site.

Oh, never mind. Found out how. So much better now.
The last 4 years at the Noxen, PA venue have been nothing shy of having cookies with Santa on x-mas eve. This is THE highlight of my year for many moons. Yes, I might set the bar low, but the knowledge I gain, quite by accident is beyond what years of trial and error would yield. Never has a soul regretted the pilgrimage to the land of milk and honey. I have nothing but GREAT memories and thank the stars for lining up to make it possible for me to enjoy the company of so many good folks year after year.
Greatly appreciative for Joe and Gary for taking the lions share of the details/ planning that make it all possible.
I just realized I haven't put in vacation time for the Noxen thang. I wrote the dates down, putt them somewhere I could find them........So could someone repost the dates.
August 18,19,20 Jerry. See ya there!!
Joe, did the dates change?
I have it on my calendar as August 25,26,& 27.
Its the 18,19,20th Doug. My Son Josh is getting married on the 26th.
Thanks! I will plan accordingly.
