Bought a used 325C in .30-30. It was fitted with a Weaver side mount and an older 3-9x Bushnell. I did some bedding adjustment and installed a Leupold 2-7x. It shoots great and on a good day can do MOA for 3 shots at 100 yards. It loves Hornady FTX factory loads, and likes handloads using Leverevolution powder. Its favorite load is 170 gr Nosler partitions over a Leverevolutuion powder.

Best .30-30 I've ever shot.
sounds fun don't ya just finding a cool oldie!

Do you know what mounts I would use and where to get it. I acquired one but would like to put a scope on it, Thanks

I think this is what you want...

Make sure your rifle has 4 holes drilled on the left side for a mount.

I don't think it does, I just checked and it has two together near the bolt in the rear and one ahead about an inch and down about 1/8". So it doesn't have 4, I looked at the one you sent and it is the right idea, but it won't work unless I can get Gunsmith to drill and tap it for me. Thank you for trying.

Those two holes are for a peep sight.

That's good to know, maybe I should find one of those. Thanks

You have an early rifle. The receiver sight in marked WFC 175. Screws for attaching are 8-40x3/16" oval head. If you go the route, make sure you know what an original looks like and that what you are buying has all the correct parts.
