I was stopping in to a gun shop in Broad albin New York, just looking for 22 high power ammo, when the guy behind the counter tells me the following: Two , maybe two and a half years ago a guy drops off about 20 or so 99's for sale. Within 2 weeks all are sold. I cant beleive this as I work about 5 minutes from that stinking shop. He said once word got out, the guns just jumped off the shelf. I missed it, but I can only hope that if anything good was in the lot, that Jed or his brother got to check through the stuff. Who would guess a little mom and pop shop would get that kind of haul?
Right place wrong time.I leave my number at every gun shop I go to and tell them to call if a 99 pops up.Rarely get a call.Either they dont pop up or they get to the auction first.

Mike
I get the call backs, but always RATS for sale, or way out of my $$ range.

Mike...
Last winter the Armoury in New Preston, CT had at least 17 99's all at once. I mentioned it here and someone said they were over priced. I don't think that they were. They had a 358 and a 375 and one 308 there was a very nice rifle.

If your not too far from the CT border give them a call. They are open Thursday afternoon.

The Armoury usually has about eight or so 99's. They also have two Griffen & Howe sporters etc.
