Has anyone seen this one and is more valuable than a standard receiver? I have some with the bottom engraved, but have not seen where sides have been done. Looks like pheasant grouse. After looking more closely, might be a 219 frame. I have a receiver engraved on the underside with 2 geese and it is stamped 219. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Jim

Looks like the same engraving as they used to use on the old model 726's and 740's. I think the old 220 P's had that on them for a short time as well.

Was that gun in 12 ga with a recoil pad on it?
I don't know about that, but where the barrel mates to the receiver appears larger than my 20 gauge and 28 gauge receivers. They are kind of cool. I am thinking about getting it up and running and putting my 12 ga bbl on it. Just have to come up with all of the internals. The firing pin hole looks quite a bit smaller than the shotguns I have. Might try and find a used 220/219 and go from there. Jim
