Found some newer Rem 100 gr fact ammo for $10 a box! Bought 10
boxes, should work great in my 1 in 10 twist 99. Don,t know
how they will work in my older 99 EG 1 in 14 twist. The guy I bought the ammo from has about 30 boxes left if you are in AK.
Can,t ship it outside.

I purchased a full case (10 boxes) of the Winchester 100gr SilverTip 250 Savage ammo. Really hard to find on the East Coast. By the time I was done bidding on the Gunbroker auction, it cost me 36.50 a box. I already managed to purchase about 12 boxes in previous auctions. My 99A loves this ammo.

I normally don't frequent this forum, but I see that I might keep my Winchester 250-3000 ammo.

I went into a gun store Friday just to look around. He had 2 boxes of Remmington 250 Savage for $19.00. I told him I would buy all he could get at that price.

It is usually $32.00 around hear!

Ammo shot great in both rifles, the 99 A 20" 1 in 10 twist about 1.5" @ 100 yards. The older 99 EG 24" with a tang sight under 1" at 50 yards around 2700 FPS. With the 24" barrel and a tighter chamber quite a difference on the chronograph between the 2 rifles. 250 Savage ,100 gr Rem Peters late model fact. Ammo.

Need to keep brass seperate as the older 99 EG has a much
tighter chamber.

May try and get 5 more boxes!
