For the few West Michigan people here on the forum that have not been to the new Cabelas yet. There are a few 99's in the used gun section.

1) 75th anniversary Model 1895
2) 99-H, Barrel Band 30-30
3) 2 - .300 sav (EG and R if I remember correctly)
4) 99-F, 243 win
5) 99, 303 sav (Can't remember what this one was)

Also saw a 1905/ 07 / or 17 Savage pistol. Not too familar with these to tell the difference.

Do they have a "gun library" where they keep the good stuff, like they do at the Dundee store?

1) 75th anniversary Model 1895 - $949
2) 99-H, Barrel Band 30-30 - $869
3) 2 - .300 sav $899, $499
4) 99-F, 243 win - $599
5) 99, 303 sav - $799

They do have the gun library like Dundee. That is where they keep the used hand guns as well.

Everything depends on condition, and those prices look better than the typical gun show prices I see.

The only one with condition was the anniversary model. The others were road hard and put away wet. Trust me, they are still there for a reason.

Interesting. The ones that may be worth having suck condition wise and the top of the heap is the less than respected in collector circles "Anniversary Model." Tells me a lot about where they place value. Well, the market sets the prices. I guess that they think that an Anniversary Model of something that was never previously produced hits a high spot.
